People from the St. Kitts government gave speeches, and Miss St. Kitts sang the national anthem. Here is Cory pretending to give a speech as well

To celebrate the ribbon cutting we had free popcorn and drinks, and we could choose from 6 movies to watch; we saw Mamma Mia... with no subtitles or random intermissions like the old theater!

That is awesome. We take for granted things like that here in the States. I remember the first time I set foot in a grocery store on Curacao after being in Venezuela for a year. It was heaven. That must have been fun to be VIP's at the opening ceremonies.
wow!! i can't believe they have a new theater. i'm almost going to miss the old one if i ever go back, crazy!
nice job with the blog, i haven't followed it much but it's great to see some updates from there, which is why i found it to begin with. good luck with finishing up down there, and enjoy it while you still can, you'll miss it later!
Great pictures. I can see how this theatre will be popular.
